The future of the Philippines is said to be in the hands of the ones occupying position in the government, but who placed them in their positions in the first place? Isn’t it the Filipinos who voted for them? Therefore, vote wisely.

translation: (top speech balloon) “Because in the end, we are the ones who will regret it”, (large font) “voting?be smart!”, (small font) “Because the future of our country is dependent on your brain.”
I am 20 years old and a first-time voter. Last May 13, 2013, monday, the Philippines had their elections and as a good citizen, i voted. To my dismay, the results were crap! Before I continue with my opinion, i hope that you, my reader, will have an open mind and read towards the end.
Okay, with that being said, let me continue on with this. First and foremost, where are the smart people in the top 12? We only have a few smart people up there(like Legarda, Escudero, Cayetano) and people judge most of them for what?for f*cking saying “yes” to the RH Bill. So what if they said yes? Our consitution mentioned that the church and the state should have a separation. Another thing is this, whether the RH Bill promotes abortion or not, no abortion will happen if the people won’t choose that for themselves. In the end, whether something is legalized or not, people will always find a way to do it and make it happen! It’s the same as having sex, whether you are married or not, if you choose to answer your f*cking sex drives, you can do it! So tell me, who among the RH Bill cons are virgins?without a female family member who got pregnant before getting married?without a female family member who was forced to get marry because she got pregnant? Sex is a choice. And what RH Bill does is to promote education. It does not promote death, on the contrary, RH Bill tells you what “it”(contraceptives) does, whether you use a condom or go for vasectomy is not ordered by the law, but an order you give to yourself. Oh and by the way, contraceptives are long been sold even before this Bill was brought up. Condoms, most common, were in every pharmacy then. And the first time I’ve seen one(a box, since they were colorful and looked like candy boxes with the flavors and all) was when i was in 4th grade, about ten years old and probably late 2003 and no RH Bill. Therefore, it was already being sold then. So what’s with the fuss with the RH Bill all about now? Isn’t it better that we have that bill so that we can be aware?
Next is this, no offense but how did Grace Poe end up being #1? I have nothing against her nor her supporters(i didn’t vote for her) though. What surprises me is that she topped the charts without experience. People say that they voted for her because she has the potential. Now, who doesn’t have the potential to run for a position in the government? There are other people with more “potential” than her who didn’t run. Sure she has the guts to run for the first time but to run for senate right away is just too much, she doesn’t have the experience, and the senate is a “big” thing here. Being in the senate is not a game guys, if you want to gain experience, start from the bottom and work your way up. It is very risky to experiment with something when that “something” at stake is the future of the Philippines. The same goes with Nancy Binay. Again,I have nothing against her nor her supporters(i didn’t vote for her) though. she had 20 years of “ojt” with her family members. Sure, she indeed has the experience but she is still a beginner with the “real” thing. Another thing I don’t understand is that why was Erap Estrada proclaimed as Manila Mayor? why did the people elect the former president who was removed from office and was put to jail because of being corrupt? I’m guessing that some people never learn.
But then again, the results are out, I am not quite happy here but what more can I do? I am now only hoping that all the blessed candidates who got in will prove themselves and help the Philippines.
I also believe that everything happens for a reason.
Thank you for reading. :)

She’s the girl you see eating a brownie cup ala mode at La Marea on a Saturday evening. She doesn’t go to the club because she has to get up early the next day for Church. Which is why she looked so familiar… cause that’s where you first saw her… in church… at the communion…

A movie Directed by Keishi Otomo:
major cast:
Rurouni Kenshin “battosai” ( Takeru Satoh ), Kaoru Kamiya (Emi Takei), Megumi Takani (Yuu Aoi), Sanosuke Sagara (Munetaka Aoki), Hajime Saitō (Yosuke Eguchi), Kanryū Takeda (Teruyuki Kagawa), Yahiko Myōjin (Taketo Tanaka) and Jine Udō (Kouji Kikkawa).
The movie is an adaptation of the famous mangaby Nobuhiro Watsuki which was also made into a TV series because of its popularity.
I would rate this movie with a 10. The actors were able to portray the mannerisms of the characters in the manga. The action was so realistic and the “choreography” was amazing! Also, the movie was very funny, especially the fight scene between Sanosuke and Banjin.
It’s a must watch movie for everybody. It advocates the value and meaning of life. :)
